Build a consistent call routine
Make staffed availability, prompt pickup, and QLG's best-practices call flow part of every working day.
Lesson 1
Staff the hours you set
Before each session, confirm who will answer calls and when they will be available. Check the receiving number, the timezone shown in your schedule, your prepaid balance, and your limits. Set maximum calls at once to the people actually available, not the size of the whole team.
Plan lunch, meetings, and breaks into your availability. When staffing changes, update delivery settings and check the last confirmed state before relying on the change. Saved settings do not affect live calls in this preview. A receiving phone should have a prepared person behind it whenever delivery is on.
Lesson 2
Answer promptly and follow the call flow
Keep your headset, approved product references, and working tools ready before the phone rings. Pick up promptly and give the consumer your attention. Introduce yourself and your agency, connect the conversation to what they requested, and let them explain what they need before moving through qualification.
Follow the sequence you practiced instead of jumping to a pitch. Ask one question at a time, listen to the full answer, and explain the next step. Prompt pickup gets the conversation started; patient attention is what lets you work it properly.
Lesson 3
Return to the training regularly
QLG developed its best-practices program from hundreds of hours of calls with the same types of consumers you will be speaking with. Use the lessons as a working reference. Completing the required watch is the beginning; regularly practicing the process is what makes it familiar.
Before your next session, choose a section to revisit: the opening, the qualification order, or how you explain the next step. Practice it aloud, then use it consistently. Finish each day by checking the next session's staffing and balance so you can begin ready to answer.
